What does this resource cover? 

This is a lesson developed by CommonSense Education that is designed to help Kindergarten-aged children learn how to stay safe online. Downloadable materials are available in both English and Spanish.

What will community members learn? 

According to the included lesson plan, after learners complete this lesson, they will be able to:

  • Discover that the internet can be used to visit faraway places and learn new things.
  • Compare how staying safe online is similar to staying safe in the real world.
  • Explain rules for traveling safely on the internet.
