Maryland Broadband Navigator Map

UME Marylanders Online, in partnership with Penn State Extension, has launched the Maryland Broadband Navigator. The University of Maryland Extension is the first institution outside of Penn State to implement this tool, which is available to the public at no cost and funded by The Rockefeller Foundation. This resource is not maintained by UME Marylanders Online.

This tool is an interactive national broadband GIS map that utilizes FCC census block-level data to illustrate best available internet service, prices, and broadband infrastructure by zip code. The map also includes information about legislators and existing infrastructure such as buildings, transmission lines, and towers, and may be used to facilitate discussions about local broadband projects using the most accurate data available. Click here for a training on how to use this tool.
