This is a presentation created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to help teach children in grades 3-5 digital citizenship skills. You will need to provide your name and email address to download this presentation.

According to the included lesson plan, after learners complete this lesson, they will be able to:

  • Describe what it means to be a good digital citizen
  • Describe what to do when they see inappropriate content online
  • Explain how to protect their personal information
  • Explain why they should never agree to meet face-to-face with someone they’ve met online
  • Describe how to use good netiquette and what to do if someone is being mean to them online
