What does this resource cover? 

This is a game created by the researchers from University of Maryland’s Safe Data Safe Families Project that will help children learn about privacy issues around location data on mobile devices. The game is available in both English and Spanish.

What will community members learn? 

After learners complete this game, they will be able to:

  • Identify the characteristics of a strong password
  • Explain how location data can be used in different contexts

How long will this program take?

20 minutes

What materials are needed?

One staff member (but children can also complete this independently)
