This lesson was created by CommonSense Education and will help first grade-aged students learn about Internet safety. Downloadable materials are available in both English and Spanish.
What will community members learn?
According to the included lesson plan, after learners complete this lesson, they will be able to:
- Explain that being safe online is similar to staying safe in real life
- Identify websites and apps that are "just right" and "not right" for them
- Explain how to get help from an adult if they are unsure about a website
