Maryland Digital Equity Summit Event
Marylanders Online, a program of the University of Maryland Extension (UME), in partnership with the College of Information Sciences (INFO), will be hosting the 2023 Maryland Statewide Digital Equity Summit on Thursday, November 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with registration and breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. The event will feature panel discussions, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities with digital inclusion leaders from across the state. This event aims to cultivate statewide engagement and support the establishment of partnerships among stakeholders to advance ongoing digital equity initiatives. Summit attendees are eligible for up to 5.5 Category I Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) continuing education credits through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
Following the summit, attend the Maryland Digital Equity Champion Awards Ceremony to recognize individuals and organizations which have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to digital inclusion efforts in Maryland.
