2025 Maryland Digital Opportunity Summit
The 2025 Maryland Digital Opportunity Summit will take place on Wednesday, October 15, at the Silver Spring Civic Building and center around the theme, "Invest Today. Empower Tomorrow. Fueling Economic Growth and Workforce Innovation Through Digital Opportunity." The third annual summit will bring together cross-sector leaders from government, education, healthcare, technology, and community organizations to accelerate broadband access, digital skills development, and economic opportunities for all Marylanders. This event is hosted by Carroll Technology & Innovation Council and CareerCatchers, Inc., and is not associated with the University of Maryland.

MONET Digital Navigator Training
Summit attendees can earn a Digital Navigator certification by enrolling in a hybrid MONET (Marylanders Online Navigation Educator Toolkit) training. Training and certification cost is included with the purchase of a Summit ticket. Training will take place on October 16th in the Ellsworth room at the Silver Spring Civic Center. 2025 Summit Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Attendees of the 2025 Maryland Digital Opportunity Summit are eligible to apply for 6 Health Education CECHs and 4 Category 1 Social Work CEUs.

The University of Maryland School of Social Work Office of Continuing Professional Education is authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland to sponsor social work continuing education programs and maintains full responsibility for this program. We are also approved to offer CE to Licensed Counselors and Psychologists. This training qualifies for 4 Category 1 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Successful completion of this activity requires your signature on the sign-in sheet, participation in the entire activity, and completion of an evaluation form. CE certificates will be available within one week. If you do not receive an email within one week, please email us at cpe@ssw.umaryland.edu. 2025 Digital Equity Champion Awards
The annual Digital Equity Champion Awards serve as a mechanism for engagement and capacity building, elevating the roles of digital navigators, practitioners, educators, teachers, and direct service providers in Maryland’s digital equity ecosystem.

2024 Maryland Statewide Digital Equity Summit
The 2024 Maryland Statewide Digital Equity Summit was held on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, at the National Federation of the Blind in Baltimore. The second annual conference addressed the topic, "Beyond the Divide: Best Practices & Collaborative Strategies in Digital Equity," and brought together digital inclusion practitioners from across the state to explore best practices and collaborative opportunities for bridging the digital divide in Maryland.
