This presentation was created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and will help teach high school-aged children how to stay safe online. You will need to provide your name and email address to download this presentation.

What will community members learn? 

According to the included lesson plan, after learners view this presentation, they will be able to:

  • Build and practice emotional and social skills such as empathy, problem solving, critical thinking, and dealing with rejection
  • Explain why you should never reshare mean or inappropriate content of someone else
  • Create and maintain healthy relationships online
  • Define an “upstander”
  • Explain how to be an upstander
  • Describe reporting tools and other resources
