What is the Connected Devices Program?
The Connected Devices (MD-CDP) grant program is designed to assist in digital equity and inclusion efforts in Maryland. MD-CDP is intended to provide new, internet-enabled devices to families who are most in need. Qualifying households have an opportunity to receive one free Chromebook computer per address. Each address, beneficiary name, device identification, and other necessary data for device distribution and program reporting purposes will be received at the time of eligibility determination and prior to the distribution of the device.
How to Qualify:
- Must apply in person at one of the distribution events, the schedule is linked below.
- Must be a household with an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines to qualify.
- OR — Households participating in government assistance programs such as: SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, SSI, or others.
- AND — Proof of County, Maryland residence.
- Only one device will be provided per household or address.
