The 2026 Maryland AgTech conference will be held on Thursday, February 26, in Annapolis, MD. The event will bring together speakers from across the country to present the latest research and share innovations in scouting and field assessment, AI, pest management, irrigation and drainage, livestock management, and more. Open to the public, the 2026 AgTech Conference is a great opportunity for farmers, consultants, ag professionals, and the public to learn, connect, and earn continuing education credits. 

Event Details:

  • When: Thursday, February 26, 2026 | 9 a.m. - 4:30 pm
  • Where: Crowne Plaza Annapolis by IHG -  173 Jennifer Road, Annapolis
  • Cost: $85 until February 13th | $120 after - Includes breakfast and lunch
  • Who: Farmers, consultants, ag professionals, and the public
  • CEUs: This event will offer credits for MD/DE/PA pesticide, MD/DE nutrient management, and MD/DE certified crop advisers.

  • Dr. Xin (Rex) Sun: Inaugural endowed chair and Director of the Peltier Institute for the Advancement of Agricultural Technology at North Dakota State University

    Speaking Topic:  AI, Remote Sensing, and Robotics for Site-Specific Weed Control Application

  • Dr. Stephanie Lansing: Professor in the Department of Environmental Science & Technology, with an Extension appointment in Agriculture and Food Systems
