Maryland Digital Equity Summit Event
Marylanders Online, an initiative of the University of Maryland Extension (UME) in partnership with the College of Information Sciences (INFO), hosted the 2023 Maryland Statewide Digital Equity Summit on Thursday, November 9th, 2023. The event featured panel discussions, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities with digital inclusion leaders from across the state and aimed to cultivate statewide engagement and support the establishment of partnerships among stakeholders to advance ongoing digital equity initiatives.
Following the summit, Maryland Digital Equity Champions were recognized during a special awards ceremony, honoring individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to digital inclusion in Maryland.
Marylanders Online works to bridge the digital divide throughout the state of Maryland by providing resources and education to help guide communities through the process of increased digital literacy.
